Huda Kattan is a makeup artist, beauty blogger and vlogger who runs the immensely famous ‘Huda Beauty’ blog which is the No. 1 blog in the Middle East. She also has a hugely popular YouTube channel. While she is the best-known beauty blogger and vlogger in the Middle East where few women venture into the world of fashion and makeup, she is also counted amongst the top 20 beauty bloggers worldwide.

Although Huda Beauty is a popular cosmetics brand, it lacks a lot on advertisements, that’s mainly because it relies majorly on the blogs and YouTube channel.

The Purpose of this project is to pitch a print ad campaign that demonstrates how a magazine ad, magazine editorial, and poster would look if it were placed in the appropriate environment for The Desert Dusk Palette. While designing the ads, the background of Huda Beauty and Huda Kattan was taken into consideration, since Kattan is from the Middle East and The Desert Dusk Palette is based on the Arabian desert. The models were photographed with an Arabian clothing style and the makeup was done using The Desert Dusk Palette to showcase one of the looks that you can achieve when you use the palette. The magazine ads also display the palette, so the viewers know what’s being offered.
